The Anniversary Collection curates a selection of the most iconic designs from Fritz Hansen’s first 150 years. Arne Jacobsen first created the sleek, curvaceous Lily™ chair for Danmarks Nationalbank. Its characteristic wide shoulders and slim waist are striking examples of Jacobsen exploring and challenging the possibilities of veneer to create perfect curves and offer ultimate comfort.
The Lily 3208 has angled armrests which accentuate the chair’s wood grain and require expert craftsmanship. This model is the pinnacle of Arne Jacobsen’s plywood designs and experimentations with wood veneer.
